The basic configuration of the Komfi Delta 52 includes an automatic feeder with a fixed lifting table, a single-action Komfi feeding head, a vacuum pump, automatic sheet overlap control, and mis-feeding detection. A 3-zone electro-resistance heater with a temperature pressure roller and an air pressure reduction detector heats the laminating cylinder.

The machine also features an airshaft for film unwinding, a combined de-curling unit (bar and roller), and automatic sheet separation using a built-in perforator. Electronic control, a speed-adjustable separating roller, and a sheet separation detector are all features of a pneumatic snapping unit.
